Fitness Continuing Education Course for Personal Trainers The American Council on Exercise® (ACE®) is committed to the education and advancement of fitness professionals worldwide. ACE has more than 40,000 certified professionals seeking continuing education opportunities. These individuals require 20 hours (i.e., 2.0 continuing education credits) every two years to renew their certification. This creates a ready-made market for fitness educators seeking additional opportunities to educate and inspire others, while also gaining greater recognition within the fitness industry.

Get Your Course ACE-Approved

Fitness professionals must have access to quality educational opportunities to meet certification requirements and advance their knowledge and skills. ACE continually evaluates programs and gives selected courses or events the “ACE-approved” status and confers continuing education credits if they meet the necessary criteria and are within the scope of practice of a fitness professional. As a valued partner in the growth and development of ACE-certified professionals, continuing education providers must uphold ACE’s high standards both academically and professionally.

ACE will not approve CEC courseware from organizations, individuals or affiliates that offer certification programs that are not NCCA-accredited. Learn more about the difference between continuing education and certification.
