What Would You Write?
That’s right…it’s time for you to direct the blog. Interested? Then keep reading!
2010 has been a busy year for the ACE Exam Prep blog. There have been approximately 46 blog posts on topics ranging from Ethics to Desired Body Weight to reviewing the best ways to study Anatomy. That’s a new blog post almost every week (gotta get holidays in there somehow).
Although the Exam Prep blog does focus heavily on the personal trainer exam, we try and touch on the other certifications as well. Did you catch the post on the LWMC exam? Or the one about the change in the Group Fitness Instructor Exam Content Outline? We also wrote some reviews and updates of old posts just to keep new candidates informed of the basics.
Probably the biggest exam preparation related news of this year has been the introduction of the 4th edition Personal Trainer materials. There has been a lot of talk about the changes in the 4th ed. materials, as well as how they influence candidate’s preparation plans. I imagine this topic will keep coming up as we move into the New Year.
So how do you fit into this? I’ve loved seeing the feedback from candidates on posts, as well as seeing the referrals from Facebook and the Discussion Board. So now is your time to speak up about what you want to read about in 2011. Are you struggling with a concept and you just can’t comprehend it? Don’t worry – you’re probably not the only one. Got a question you need answered? There’s probably someone else searching for the exact same answer. If one of you asks, both of you end up with the information! So don’t be shy or reluctant to speak up.
As you celebrate the end of the year, think about 2011 and what you’d like to see on the Exam Prep Blog. Drop me a quick reply to this post, then take a well deserved break from your studies. Head outside to take in the fresh air/snow/smog/rain/sunshine or whatever it is in your neighborhood and we’ll see you in January!
