Christmas Morning Workout

‘Twas the morning of Christmas, and all through the house,
not a creature is stirring, not even a mouse.
The health club is closed…how do they dare?
How to keep my sanity, without exercising there?

The children are still nestled all snug in their beds,
while visions of burpees dance through my head.
In moments they will wake and tear the gift-wrap.
I need to get a workout done in a snap!

If Christmas in your house is anything like it is in mine, there will be a lot of sitting and eating! Enjoy this quick workout to get your holiday started off on the right track.

This at-home, no-equipment-required workout is done just like the song: Begin with exercise #1, then exercise #2 and #1, followed by exercise #3, #2 and #1 until you finish your song! At the end of the workout you will have completed 12 15-second planks, etc. Grab the heaviest (unbreakable) gift under the tree and enjoy!
