I have worked in the fitness field for 18 years, first in New York City and most recently in Reno, Nevada. I teach a variety of group fitness classes, as well as working with Personal Training and Pilates clients one-on-one and in small groups. I strongly believe in the value of cross-training, and encourage my clients and students to try new things, and to set measurable goals, as a way of improving their health, fitness, weight, self-esteem, and overall quality of life. I enjoy working with healthy adults, as well as athletes, pre-natal and post-partum women, seniors, and kids. I personally enjoy running marathons, mountaineering, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, Pilates, yoga, skiing, and snowshoeing, and have been thrilled with the opportunities I've had to introduce my own favorite activities to my clients and students. My philosophy is that fitness should be a fun, challenging part of everyone's life in some way, and that gym workouts are just a part of a healthy lifesyle.
