An avid runner, swimmer, and weight trainer, Sue first entered the fitness industry as a group aerobics instructor in 1984 and brings well over two decades of fitness experience in both teaching and personal training. Sue has taught aerobic dance, step, water aerobics and spinning, both locally and in Scottsdale, Arizona. In the Harrisburg area she has been on the staff of the West Shore YMCA, Woody’s, Alpha Racquetball & Fitness, Gold’s Gym and is currently on staff at LA Fitness in Camp Hill, PA. While residing in Arizona, she was affiliated with Peaks Fitness, HealthSouth Physical Therapy and Fitness Experience. In 1991, she formed her own business, Solely for Women Personal Training, which included personal training & coaching in the home. Sue’s clients have included men, women, seniors and teens.
As a Certified Podiatric Medical Assistant for over 10 years, Sue has gained extensive knowledge of body mechanics and injury prevention relating to impact exercise such as walking and running. Using this experience, Sue has worked with many individuals recovering from injuries involving the foot and ankle.
Her passion is cardiovascular conditioning and general strength training for women. Sue has successfully trained and coached both beginning walkers and competitive runners. She also incorporates strength training, indoor cycling, nutrition guidance and aquatic conditioning into programs customized for her clients.
Her greatest joy is the feeling of making a difference in someone’s life. The variety of each client’s fitness and lifestyle goals keeps personal training new and exciting for her.
