Healthy ≠ Skinny! All too often people try to get ‘fit’, which the media tells us is pre-pubescent thin, by using quick fad diets. “Getting skinny is easy with ABC!” “Keep the weight off with these XYZ easy steps!” The truth is there are two main steps to optimal health: eating right and taking the time to exercise daily. And these steps are not easy, but they are manageable with the right motivation and guidance. I am a fitness professional because I want to help people become the best, happiest, and healthiest version of themselves they can be and I want to help them truly be fit and happy with their bodies. I am an ACE Certified Personal Trainer as well as a group fitness instructor specializing in Zumba, Yoga, total body fitness classes, Step Aerobics, and Kick Boxing. I have taught a variety of classes that range from high-impact to low-impact, spry nineteen-year-old dancers or 90 year old ladies in retirement centers and all ages in between. I strive to help people find their fitness niche, whatever their condition or abilities.
