About
Megan graduated Cum Laude from San Jose State University and obtained a bachelors degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in exercise physiology. She has been a professional massage therapist since 2004 and is both California state (CAMTC) and nationally board certified (NCBTMB). In the beginning of her massage practice, Megan worked in various settings ranging from integrative wellness clinics to high end health clubs. After working as a therapist for 8 years, she started to explore other roles in the industry and began teaching massage at Carrington College. That experience then led her to the realm of corporate wellness and the management side of the industry where she spent time at Nvidia as their first Wellness Program Manager and at Google as a Massage Supervisor. In addition to her massage certifications, Megan holds several certs within the fitness industry. She is a certified Medical Exercise Specialist, RKC Instructor and CrossFit Level 1 Trainer. She also has experience working as a Wellness Coach and Nutrition Educator. Megan's biggest passion lies in helping others reach and maintain high levels of self-efficacy in relation to their health and fitness goals through exercise, massage therapy / bodywork and therapeutic lifestyle changes. In her free time, she loves to be in nature, read, travel, and volunteer for her local hospice organization.
