I’ve always been motivated to stay in shape. My family trips always had an exercise component to them – hiking in Acadia National Park, biking, swimming, kayaking, etc. But my grandfather, who is one of my biggest role models and inspirations, was a physical trainer for many years before he passed away in 2010. I always looked up to him, and whenever I go to the gym, I feel very connected to him. One of my goals in life is to share my love for exercise with others and to inspire those around me to work-out and to stay fit. You only have one body -- and setting up goals that you can achieve can be one of the best feelings in the world! I have experience teaching fitness classes at both the Bar Harbor YMCA, as well as at the Brandeis University Gosman Sports Gym.
