About

Hello! My name is Juliana, and I go by Julia. I have been a fitness enthusiast since I was a small child, when I would go hiking with my father shortly after learning how to walk. I went to college at The Thomas More College of Liberal Arts on the East Coast, and majored in Political Science. However, while in school I had a nagging feeling that I was not following my heart! Eventually, I decided to become a Personal Trainer - especially since I have participated in physical activity since I can remember. It is what I love to do! It began with hiking and gymnastics, then progressed to vaulting (gymnastics on horseback.) I then participated in Swimming, Cross-Country running, and Track and Field in Junior High and High-school. I also enjoy mountain biking and backpacking, as well as group-fitness classes. I have always had a deep desire to share my passion and enthusiasm for fitness with others, and to help them accomplish the sense of joy and happiness being fit can bring! In addition, exercise has propelled me through some rough times in my life, when I was depressed and stressed. Being fit and feeling good after a workout boosts mood and helps you feel positive. I am dedicated to helping others feel this way about themselves and their lives, by designing programs that help people achieve their fitness goals and increase their energy and ascend their own personal "mountains." Together, we will grow in fitness and health!
