My experience comes from a wide array of places and populations but one thing has held true, exercise can be a medium in which to achieve this goal. Humans as a species were not only meant to be active but we have a desire to feel like we are a part of something. There’s something entirely unique and human about the relationship and friendship that comes from sharing physical struggle, and as a personal trainer I get to experience this every day.
