About
I believe in the importance of a relationship with my clients and guiding them to reach their fitness goals while encouraging a holistic training approach. My experience in understanding clients stems from my background in Psychology, Biology and the Education fields. I enjoy working with fitness enthusiasts of all levels, specializing in 50+ women, the aging client, runners, and anyone willing to show up and work hard. I take into account a client’s physical, nutritional, emotional, and spiritual health. My passion has always revolved around every aspect of running, and I have been competitive in cross country and track since the age of 10. I've completed numerous marathons—including Chicago and Boston, following by racing competitively in the 5K distance. My B.S. degree is in Psychology and Biology from Wheaton College as well as a B.S. degree in English and Secondary Education from North Central College. Other credits include an ACE Certified Personal Training TRX Suspension Training Course, TRX Functional Training Course and ONNIT Foundations Course. In the past, I also coached cross country at Wheaton College and was in the middle school teaching field for 8 years.
