About
After years of being overweight, mostly from being sedentary and working in an office, I became my first client. I lost body fat, gained strength and confidence along the way, and developed a healthier and balanced lifestyle. I became a Personal Trainer to help others achieve the same thing, teaching them movements to help with activities of daily living. Today, I have completed multiple Half Marathons (running and walking) and Ten-Milers, as well as many shorter distance events. I am also certified to teach yoga, so I can help you with your balance and flexibility needs. As an older adult, I also know first-hand the difficulties in keeping weight off or trying to lose that last 5 pounds. I enjoy activities such as walking and running (usually a combo of both), volleyball, yoga, cooking, baking, and I balance my lifestyle with good food, beer, and cupcakes. Let me share my knowledge with you to help you reach your fitness goals and find some balance and peace of mind.
