Although I am newly certified as an ACE personal trainer, I am very experienced, both as a teacher and an athlete. I am a professional symphony musician and have taught young musicians for many years. Although sports and music appear to be unrelated, the physical ability to play an instrument is very similar to learning an athletic skill.
During the summer of 2008, I completed my first Ironman at the age of 62. I have participated in numerous marathons and triathlons, and, as a breast cancer survivor, I formed a Team Survivor for women who are cancer survivors desiring to heal through athletics. I believe that pursuing a reasonable goal and achieving it, are very empowering. I would like to guide clients to realize their potential.
