About

I am a high energy person who has always enjoyed movement of any kind. My interests extend to any and all sports, and I’ve been visiting gyms for years, wherever I may live or travel, whatever the season or location. During my lifetime of activity, I've realized my desire to help others discover what they can do to live a strong, healthy life. I started as a Fitness Instructor for the YMCA where I worked with all levels of interest, and by serving seniors, I've realized the importance of maintaining health and fitness as we age. In addition to a national ACE Personal Trainer Certification, I am YMCA certified in Healthy Lifestyles, Foundations of Strength and Conditioning, and CPR/AED. I'm also certified by EFI Sports Medicine as a Gravity Instructor. As my passion to serve seniors has blossomed, I've certified in FallProof, Balance & Agility training and Active Adult Balance Training. My "niche" includes Special Populations that I've been honored to serve as well. I want to share my experience and enthusiasm with others, assisting them in developing the ability to live independently, longer. My approach to lifelong health and fitness, both indoors and out, is built on a foundation which includes functional training, body weight work-outs, balance, agility, cross-training & brain games. Since I believe that the process should be fun, I build variety into my individualized service. My priority is to develop signature programs that encourage my clients to prepare for a long, fit, and healthy life.
