New Orleans, LA USA 70118
As a Division I athlete competing in Cross Country and Track and Field teams, I have had a number of experiences as a serious competitor and athlete, as well as strength trainer. Additionally, I have myself gone through physical therapy rehabilitation after knee surgeries in both knees. This experience helped to solidify my belief that overall wellness and musuclar strength and stability are key to long-term well being.
I have competed in running for the USATF organization since 1998, placing 4th in the USATF 2006 National Meet in the Steeplechase; Minnesota State High School League from 2002 to 2008, even competing at the State Cross Country Meet in 2007. I now run for Tulane University in New Orleans, LA and am studying Finance and Management in the A.B. Freeman School of Business. I will graduate with a Masters in Accounting in May 2013.
In the summers, I volunteer with the REAL Youth Track Club and officiate USATF Junior Olympic meets. In the summer of 2010, I worked as a personal trainer at Fitness 19 in Eagan. I worked with women ranging in age from 20-65 on a regular basis. ICurrently, I work at Reily Recreation Center at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. I believe exercise should have a goal beyond weight loss for any client, but also focus on measurable and achievable short and long term results.

Personalization and customization to a client's schedule is second only to safety precautions when I work with a new client. Though I have my own experiences in athletics, I realize and value the different backgrounds each client brings to their training sessions and look to accomodate their needs while maximizing sustainable results through various means of exercise. This means extending training sessions to the outdoors, the courts, and/or the studio. A client should never be bored with their workout, nor should one ever feel uncomforta
