Leah completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois as a Chick Evans Scholar. She majored in Kinesiology with a minor in Gerontology and is now pursuing a Masters Degree in Kinesiology. In addition to being a NASM – CPT, she holds a Sports Coaching Certificate from Griffith University (Queensland, Australia), is a certified Turbo Kick Kickboxing instructor, and New Leaf Metabolic cart specialist. Her professional fitness career started six years ago when she became a group fitness instructor at the University of Illinois. She teaches aqua aerobics, cycling, cardio, strength, and kickboxing formats. Leah was also the Program Manager of Group Fitness for three years. Leah has worked with a variety of clients from The University of Illinois Women’s Golf team to older adults living at the Clark-Lindsey Retirement Village in Urbana, Illinois. Leah will graduate from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in December 2009.
