As a breast cancer survivor, I have a unique perspective regarding aging and exercise to offer my midlife and beyond clients. I am interested in the contributors of chronic disease (as well as chronic health!) associated with aging. Although I continue to be personally active in fitness through traditional physical training, my main concern is health promotion and independent daily living through exercise. In addition to effective communication and learning skills I acquired while earning my MS degree in Educational Psychology, I am also trained in relaxation techniques, visualization, Reiki, yoga, meditation, and am working toward Tai Chi certification.
Together we can develop realistic goals that are effective and balanced for your given time constraints, physical limitations and interests.
