About

Hello, My name is J.Michael Wagner. I have been heavily invested into fitness the last 3 years of my life in which I have transformed not only my mental health and social interaction but also my physical well-being. Confidence was always a struggle when I was a heavier individual. Despite being a 3 sport athlete in high school, my eating habits and environment did not attribute to being "healthy". My weight often held me back in sports where I could have excelled and hindered me as a person. As I matured, health and fitness became my primary goal in life and influenced me to obtain a personal training certification. My goal is to help others accomplish theirs, succeed in life and promote a healthy lifestyle to anyone I come into contact with. I have participated in almost all sports, coached lacrosse and football clinics for youth, helped organize fundraising events centered around wellness to promote health within my community and currently help coach the UW-Madison Club Lacrosse team. As a personal trainer you can expect me to be easy going and comfortable to be around outside of sessions, yet focused and determined to help you achieve the goals you desire within the sessions. I like to balance being a friendly source for you outside of your training and that kick in the rear you may need during training. Intensity and workout theory are all sculpted to a clients specific needs and personality. I do not want to put anyone through something they are uncomfortable doing but I will expose you to things you may not have been previously accustomed to. Change is good and for many people if you want to see a change you need to make a change.
