About

Ever since I was a young child, I have been extremely active. Running has always been my favorite sport. I love to be outside in the fresh air running in a park or on a trail. To round out my fitness regimen, I’ve added cycling and strength training. I run in races of various distances, compete in duathlons, and have completed a marathon. I’m an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, AASDN Nutrition Specialist, TRX Certified Trainer, and Group Exercise instructor. I’ve combined my racing experience with my organizational skills to volunteer as director for several charity cycling and running events. I have a passion for being healthy and staying fit and want to use my expertise to help others to reach their fitness goals, such as getting in shape for a first 5K race or attaining a new record time in a future race. My training philosophy is to provide the motivation and knowledge necessary to enable others to adopt healthy new habits and to lead a better, more active lifestyle. I want to use my experience to help people reach their desired fitness goals and also witness their achievements. The realization that my efforts can make a difference in people’s lives has inspired me to become a personal trainer.
