I have a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of MN and attained my Personal Fitness Trainer certification in 1998 from the American Council on Exercise. Since then I have worked on continuing education in many specialized areas of the health and fitness field. My extra education in special populations, nutrition, intuitive eating and fitness coaching allows me to help each individual with specific needs and goals. I recently completed ACE's Lifestyle and Weight Management coach certification which has allowed me to be current on the latest research and techniques for the most successful weight loss and management programs. It’s exciting to see people achieve their weight loss and body composition goals, and it is rewarding to help people regain mental and physical strength after unforeseen circumstances that have affected their health and general well being. If I had to pick out my best attribute, it would be my empathy for others and my motivation to help individuals. One of my greatest joys is to help my clients find success and happiness.
