About
I have been an ACE Group Fitness Instructor since 1998, plus I hold additional certifications, such as AFAA, Schwinn Cycling, and more. Although I enjoy leading fitness classes, I also thrive in educating other instructors; therefore, I am also a continuing-education provider and teach fitness courses and workshops through GFIT Education, LLC., in clubs and on colleges campuses. In October 2015, I also launched Portland's first group-fitness conference titled FitProPDX on a college campus. When I'm not leading fitness classes, I'm teaching elementary PE with the hopes of leading our youth into a healthier lifestyle. I earned my Master of Science in Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Portland State University and am an advocate for continued education in all facets of our lives!
