Gunther von Hagens’ BODY WORLDS, the Original Exhibition of Real Human Bodies, is now open at the San Diego Natural History Museum, offering visitors an in-depth view of the intricately designed human body, comparative anatomy showing wellness and disease and the mysterious world of the brain.
A casting call will be held at the San Diego Natural History Museum on Saturday, May 16th from 1- 3pm to search for the fittest man in San Diego to represent the world-renowned exhibition and be named “Mr. Anatomy”.
Each contestant will participate in a series of contests, which will determine the winner. Mr. Anatomy is much more than just a fit body; he must also convince the judges that he can convey the BODY WORLDS message about living a healthy lifestyle. Each contestant will be evaluated for overall grooming, appeal and public speaking skills. Mr. Anatomy must demonstrate confidence and be comfortable with and in front of an audience.
The winner of Mr. Anatomy will receive a Premier Personal Trainer Home Study Program from the American Council on Exercise (a $400 Value), a one-year membership to Frog’s Fitness, $100 per event appearance, four tickets to the BODY WORLDS exhibition and a BODY WORLDS t-shirt.
Mr. Anatomy will be body painted to resemble a plastinate and serve as a representative of the exhibition. Duties will include a minimum of two public appearances including the Rock ‘N’ Roll Marathon on Sunday, May 31st. Participating in this run also requires Mr. Anatomy to be available the evening before the run when the majority of the body painting will take place.
To sign up to participate, send a head and full body shot with full contact information to email@example.com by May 14th. (Note: You must be 18 years or older to participate.)
