How Does This Benefit Me?

This incredible opportunity gives ACE-certified fitness professionals access to America’s fastest growing population segment. Today, the 50+ market makes up 35% of the U.S. population and controls 75% of the nation’s wealth. This is your opportunity to share your passion and knowledge with individuals who are redefining our expectations on age, vitality and life. As an ACE-certified Fitness Professional, your services will be communicated to current and potential AARP members leveraging the powerful consumer brand awareness of AARP.

"My very first client for the AARP program is seeing such progress, and I have several waiting in line. The last quarter of the year is promising, business wise, thanks to your new affiliation with AARP!"

Pamela Lauderback

Am I Eligible?

The program is available only to fitness professionals holding a current ACE Personal Trainer or Advanced Health + Fitness Specialist certification and a current CPR certificate. (Note: Effective January 1, 2009 all new and renewing ACE-certified professionals in the U.S. and Canada must hold both a current CPR and AED card to sit for or renew an ACE certification.) How Does the Program Work?

There is an annual $50 enrollment fee to join the program. With this small fee, you gain direct access to AARP members nationwide through a profile listing on AARP's website. In addition, ACE-certified Fitness Professionals who join in the first year of the program receive 2 FREE continuing education courses focusing on older adult fitness (worth 0.2 continuing education credits). The ACE Trainer Program is being communicated to AARP members through a variety of public relations efforts and print and online advertising via a Co-op Marketing Fund. View program requirements.
